Ten Questions with Cara..

What is your Name and where are you from?

Cara, and I am from Canton

How long have you been with LCCC and what position do you hold?

I have been with LCCC since the beginning. I do a little bit of everything. I work at the shows, I help in the shop, I sew labels into the shirts, and anything else that Greg and Amy may need done.

What is your favorite part about working at LCCC?

Getting time to spend with my family is the most important part. I also like meeting new people at the events we attend.

Do you participate in anything outside of LCCC?

My main job is as a 6th grade special education teacher. I have many hobbies outside of LCCC. I like to read, travel, golf, run, and garden. I help out with the children's choir at my church. I also sing in the choir at church. My two favorite things are my furry kids. I have two cats, Dexter and Delilah. They keep life at home interesting.

Why did you decide to do the work you are doing now?

I love working with kids. I grew up watching my mom do her job as a teacher and knew that I wanted to be like her. Everyday is something new and exciting. There is never a dull moment when you are a teacher.

Something you can't leave the house without?

My first thought is clothes, but I would say my car keys since I wouldn't get very far without them. Although I have been known to leave without them a time or two.

What book or movie has had the greatest influence on your life?

The Bible. It has all the answers.

What is something that never fails to make you laugh?

Jimmy Fallon, he is pretty funny

You are running super late to a meeting.  You didn't have time to eat before so you have to go through a drive thru restaurant on the way. What drive thru do you choose? What do you order?

Wendy's #6 Spicy Chicken Sandwich, fries and unsweetened ice-tea.
